I woke up today to a brilliant shareholder letter speaking directly about the impact of innovation via emerging technologies. Glad to see many leaders are hungry about the need to re-think models for R&D and the path to commercial viability. I’m lucky to live in this time and this arena. Enjoy.

Incubating Disruptive Ideas

A few weeks ago I wrote about an idea, and since then it has become a seemingly incurable illness!

“An idea? Is resilient and highly contagious. Once an idea has taken hold of the brain it’s almost impossible to eradicate. An idea that is fully formed, fully understood. That sticks, right in there somewhere.” – Cobb, Inception 2010

Just a few weeks later, with money drained, lots of favors called in from friends and family along with boot camp learning sessions about fitness video production – we are about to go into a professional studio in Chicago to do a pilot on this idea.

Further details and information will follow as we continue to expand on this vision. We are still incubating the concept and have been incredibly busy working on the pilot. Again, it’s incurable and it continues to grab my entire self and for all great reasons, is spreading to other people as well.
