I’ve kept this blog for over 2 years. It needs a facelift, fresh content and more interesting stuff. I’ve been studying what people care to read around here… All about P90X and fitness tips. I’m starting my next P90X circuit starting this week. So this got me thinking…! There is so much fitness content on the net. Who has the time? Some many fitness trackers. Why do I care? How to break the routine and keep things fresh? There’s gotta be a way to make all this fitness content more accessible and useful to help people reach their goals, get the most our of your time and have fun.
I like the simplicity and intensity of P90X, Insanity, Crossfit and understand why so many people like fitness videos or simple routines with compound muscle movements that just rely on gravity. It easy, just push play on your DVD or clock it and go.
I’m excited to start P90X again, but not as much to start dating Tony and his peeps, everyday. Hearing the same talk and jokes over and over! Your body is trained to respond to the sound and anticipate the move based on the next syllable. I need new workout buddies and fresh inspiration. My workout payoff comes from performing at peak in my sport. Naturally, I also like the fact is part of “me time”, having fun, staying healthy and having sometime to share and bond with other active friends. It would be great to blend my P90X with some fresh faces, feel like I’m working out with somebody I want and almost competing to squeeze one more rep. I want a coach or personal trainer and all while making it easy to follow and be effective. There is so much fitness content, but not accessible the way I want it. So I’m planning to spend a little more time thinking about this. This will be more than a facelift. Just like other projects, tackling this, could be big and fun!
PS. Un-retouched photos taken right after my first workout. Chest and back… I’m back!
